WHO IS OUT TO GET THE PRIME MINISTER?
Perhaps all these thoughts are in the category of conspiracy theories…?
[Note: Sasson Magazine is not ordinarily a forum for political discussion. However, this article trains a spotlight on some of the workings of politics in Israel today, and has the character of a public service warning.]
Rabbi Tzvi Yehudah Kook zts”l used to say that Israeli politics is Divine politics Thus it is important to understand what forces are involved in it and how to relate to them.
According to a survey of the Anti-Defamation League, one-quarter of Europeans are extremely anti-Semitic. If this figure is accurate, the Shoah could happen again. It will not help us that seventy-five percent are not extremely anti-Semitic. The well-known “silent majority” can easily be controlled by an active minority. And this is indeed happening throughout the world. But this time the anti-Semites are going about it in a much more sophisticated manner. Instead of gas chambers, the same effects can be achieved in a more sterile and human way: by blurring Jewish identity. It is not new, but in the modern world it is efficient.
I thought of this recently, after hearing about the decision to indict Prime Minister Netanyahu. To any impartial person who looks at the details, it is clear that the Prime Minister is innocent. He is the victim of the plots of foreign agents from the European Union. All the investigations and the decisions are one big farce. I will state categorically that I place no trust in the judicial system, the army, or the police, just as I place no trust in the integrity of journalists, academics or politicians. Far from being objective seekers after, truth, justice and righteousness, every one of them has an ideological agenda.
It is painful to me to say this, but it is clear to me that many of these people are being manipulated without their knowledge by an external system. It is no secret that there are major powers in the world that aim to destroy the state of Israel, or at least to weaken and damage it. They operate in sophisticated fashion, with quiet professionalism, far from the spotlights of the media but very deep within Israeli society. They arrange for leftists to be promoted to key positions. They finance trips abroad for journalists, pay large sums for state attorneys to lecture at all sorts of international conferences, and more. In other words, they buy people. They locate people with the potential to be key figures in Israeli society, and by means of various “foundations” they guide them to walk in the “correct” path.
This is the way the Wexner Foundation, for instance, operates in Israel. Its aim is “strengthening Israel’s public service leadership,” as its mission statement tells us. Hundreds of public figures have undergone the foundation’s “training,” including lectures, personal talks, informal meetings with psychologists and counselors, all designed to give them the “correct” outlook which seeks to efface from the state of Israel anything that marks it as distinctly Jewish. The graduates of this foundation commit themselves to continue working in their fields at least three years after completing the course. Among the faithful alumni of this foundation are chiefs of staff, ministers, Knesset members, and Supreme Court justices. They include Supreme Court Justice Uzi Vogelman, former Deputy Chief of Staff Gen. Yair Golan (who compared IDF soldiers to Nazis); Maj. Gens. Shay Avital; Noam Tibon and Amos Yadlin; Chief Military Advocate General Sharon Afek (who belongs to the LGBTG community); State Attorney Moshe Lador; Director General of the New Israel Fund Eliezer Yaari: Director General of the Ministry of Justice Moshe Shilo, Director General of the Ministry of Culture and Sports Yossi Sharabi, head of the Investigation Division in the Police and Intelligence Division Israel; ECB Eran Kamin; and many more. The huge sums which the foundation pays to some of its pupils of course have their effect; they are the faithful servants of the foundation’s interests. Thus, for example, the foundation paid about 2.5 million to Ehud Barak, former Prime Minister. For what? For his great contribution to the peace process?
But most of the graduates of these foundations are unaware that they have become tools in the hands of those who seek to destroy Israel from within, if they cannot do it from without. They strive to blur the Jewish character of Israeli society, they distance themselves from any connection with tradition, create an anti-religious atmosphere, insert Christian messages, write hostile articles about the rightist-nationalist community — in order that the state of Israel may cease to be a Jewish state. And then there will be no need to fight against it. It will simply be like all other nations.
What about the religious and ultra-Orthodox communities, who are less exposed to the biased media? We get them to participate in programs led by graduates of the New Israel Fund, the missionary “Fellowship Foundation” (which masks its real name, “International Fellowship of Christians and Jews ”), and others. They have already guided the religious in the correct path: explained to them about pluralism and tolerance are and in effect emptied them of all dark fundamentalist content.
Who still remains outside the influence of the agents of a liberal and crumbling Europe? The yeshivas. The hard core, those who do not go to study in academia. But not to worry, for them the foundations have a solution whose official name is “training of rabbis” and “program for yeshiva teachers.” Here’s how it works: we invite a rabbi who teaches at a yeshiva for a series of lectures on the subject of religion and state at such and such an institute, and we offer him a scholarship the size of the minimum wage. As is well known, most rabbis have trouble making ends meet, and it is difficult to refuse the addition of a few thousand shekels a month. And what is demanded of you anyway, three hours a week? “No big deal,” says the young rabbi to himself. “So what if they brainwash me? I’d like to see them do it! I’ll brainwash them!” He doesn’t realize that it is precisely people like him, too self-confident to fear exposure to dangerous materials, who fall into the trap most readily. I myself, as a rabbi who teaches in a yeshiva, once received from the Van Leer Institute — a stronghold of the leftist agenda — an invitation to attend a series of lectures on pluralism, with the promise of a fat scholarship. And in order to make my decision easier, attached to the invitation was a list of other rabbis from various yeshivas who had undergone this training with them in previous years.
I telephoned some of my colleagues whose name appeared on this list and asked them about it. “No problem,” they answered. “You just listen to a few lectures from all kinds of doctors and professors and get paid for it. Nice, isn’t it?”
As in every field, among the molders of public opinion there are people who are highly talented. These people are capable of planting certain ideas in the soul of a person without the person’s noticing it. He believes that he has simply changed his way of thinking. Just as a “magician” like David Copperfield can “fly through the air” or “make the Statue of Liberty disappear” before thousands of spectators, so in the art of “thought implantation” there are great magicians. Some of these professionals serve in the government of the United States. Thus they worked on Begin, who gave up a huge area of land to the enemy for a piece of paper; on Sharon, who uprooted and destroyed all of Gush Katif; and on Olmert, who agreed to divide the Old City of Jerusalem and turn it into the capital of Palestine.
All three of these men were staunch rightists. What caused them suddenly to change their stance? Anyone who is not a professional is vulnerable to having thoughts implanted in his brain. One problem which the foreign agents and those who send them have run into, is that our Prime Minister is a professional himself, a communications expert, and it is difficult to work on him. He is not willing to give up the land of Israel. Therefore the alumni of the various foundations have decided simply to liquidate him politically, legally and socially (by the way, among the thought implanters, the most famous trick is “friend of the wife of the target.” When the “target” (for instance the Chief of Staff) is out of reach, his wife may be sufficiently accessible to a professional “friend,” who will program her as desired.)
But as said, most of those who are persecuting the Prime Minister — the state prosecutor, the police, the journalists, the judges and public figures — are not aware that they are being manipulated according to the designs of external and hostile entities. Perhaps all these thoughts are in the category of conspiracy theories, and everything is really innocent and honest?
In order to answer that question, we must ask ourselves: how did it happen that a few years ago most Israelis were revolted by the ideas of the LGBTG’s, whereas today they identify with them? How is it that people used to think that the idea of mixed army units was crazy, and today it is part of the consensus? How did it happen that the majority was at first certain that the accusations against Netanyahu were baseless, and today they think otherwise? What happened to them? What caused them to change their minds?
It is clear that in Israel a hostile external system is at work, seeking to make a judicial revolution and neutralize the Prime Minister who insists on not giving up parts of the land of Israel. But Divine politics, as we know, has its own rules, and the question is not “what will be” but “what do I need to do.” What we need to do now is to support our dear Prime Minister, a hero of Israel.
