Welcome back to Sasson’s Jewish Author Podcast!
In this latest edition, we interview poet and author Varda Branfman, whose long and varied career has taken her from writing for New York TV stations, through to directing the ‘Poets in the Schools’ program in Maine, before gently depositing her in Jerusalem.
Varda explains how her writing changed as her career goals and spiritual aspirations underwent a transformation, and also discusses the importance of reclaiming the past, and synthesizing experience through something she describes as ‘writing for healing’.
